Homemade Vegetable and Sweet potato soup

Back of the cupboard and back of the fridge's finest - a soup for weekend lunch that is cheap and really quick to make. I used
1 onion diced
1 sweetpotato diced
3 carrots chopped
1 tin chopped tomatoes
Handful fresh basil
Tsp mixed Italian herbs
1 clove garlic crushed
Handful soya beans
Grated parmesan cheese
1 pint veg stock
1 tin harico beans
Handfull small dried pasta
Fry onion and garlic. Add all other ingredients and simmer until cooked. Garnish with parmesan. Serve hot with crusty bread.
