Russian dolls featuring five gay British icons are a brilliant way of raising funds and awareness of the harsh treatment of the Russian LGBT community by the Russian authorities. Creative agency Mother and The Kaleidoscope Trust are sticking two fingers up at homophobia in Russia this Christmas and will be auctioning the seven limited edition, hand-painted Russian nesting dolls to raise money for The Kaleidoscope Trust at To Russia With Love between 13th-22nd December. The trust works tirelessly with the Russian gay community and over Christmas Mother will deliver a set of dolls to the Russian Embassy in London and The Kremlin as an act of solidarity with the gay community in Russia. Bidding starts this Friday 13th December at www.torussiawithlove.co.uk so if you fancy owning one (aren't they simply fabulous) then get bidding.
The dolls represent Elton John, George Michael, Stephen Fry, Graham Norton and Tom Daly.
