Dried orange slices bring a homely, old-fashioned touch to your Christmas decorations and are just so easy to do! I came across this recipe on Red Ted Art which tends to be aimed at children's craft but in reality has some great ideas for all of us whatever our age! Anyway first off you slice up your oranges to about 1cm wide slices.
Next you put them directly onto the wire rack in your pre-heated oven (I set mine to about 120 degrees).
You then need to cook them for 2-3 hours turning regularly and checking that they don't burn. They won't be completely dry but will dry out once they have cooled and been hung out. Then simply use them around the house for a festive feel.
